I had never owned a dog before and brought home two 9 week old puppies, that were littermates. I felt very overwhelmed at first, but with Jaimie Garber's expertise, I have been able to implement commands like, sit,stay,come, I have had success in potty and crate training. They now are about 7 months old, and they are very well behaved. We take walks on the leash, have lots of interaction with other dogs. They travel very well while crated in the car. I couldnt have done it without Jamie's patience and knowledge . I really appreciate working with her. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional trainer.

I have teacup Yorkie name Cody, I wanted Cody to learn the different commands, such as Stop,sit, stay, wait, come, lay down, hand, wave, quiet, park, speak. Jaimie started to train Cody when Cody was 4 months old, Jamie knows the dogs behavior so well that Cody learned the command on one try, Jamie comes to our house to work with Cody, and every time I say the name Jaimie Cody get so excited and run to the front door and bark🤣 I would definitely highly recommend Jaimie to work with your dog, I still have Jaimie come time to time to work with Cody

We were experiencing difficulties getting our senior dogs acclimated with our newly adopted younger dog. SCV Pet Care & Dog Training helped get everyone working together. I began fostering a two-year-old Jindo in mid August.  He had been at the Castaic shelter for 3 to 4 weeks and was high on the euthanasia list.  When I first visited him at the shelter he was very traumatized and shut down and growling at everybody.  Slowly he came around and began to respond to me. I took him home and it turned out that he was very dog aggressive.  We would go on walks and he would see a dog down the block or across the street and absolutely go crazy. He would pull and growl and bark to the point that I thought he was going to turn around and bite me.  Over a few weeks he began to come out of his shell and was absolutely adorable with me but very shy of other people and he continued to be dog aggressive.  He was so aggressive that at several times I thought he would have to be put down.  I asked Jamie to please see if she could help with these aggressive issues.

With the first session she taught me some techniques that would help me better control him.  She also started some obedience training that he responded to quite easily.  She had me walk him with another dog and though slightly uncomfortable he did not attack. The second session we went to a park so she could see his response to other dogs.  He remained aggressive but she was great at controlling him and making sure that everyone was safe.  Again she taught me techniques on how to work with him when he became aggressive.

The third session we walked through granary Square where there were other dogs.   I have to say I was extremely nervous about this.  But again he responded to Jamie and there were no incidents and he actually was able to sit at Starbucks where there were two other dogs and was calm around them.  By this time I knew there was hope for this young beautiful boy!  I knew that with patience  and training he would be able to be put with a family and a forever home!  This was huge for me because I had been so scared that he would need to be put down.

I cannot praise Jamie enough!  She is wonderful with dogs and I'm sure with other animals.  She has a very calm demeanor that does not scare the animals.  She knows to let them come to her and then she begins to work with them .  We took this dog to the dog park where he could meet other dogs and she was able to have him walking around the park with other dogs with no problems at all.  This is going to continue to be a learning process for this dog but I'm sure that he will continue to improve with the help of Jamie.
